Game design and translation
I have design credits on two published boardgame expansions:
- The Agricola Z-Deck, which was issued with the first English edition of the game. Among other things, I was responsible for the Mail-Coach driver, which has the dubious honour of being one of the most reviled cards in the game.
- The Agricola X-Deck, which sees aliens landing in peaceful pastoral post-plague Germany. As well as participating in the design process, I wrote the original rules.

I have translated a number of published games from German to English. Credited titles include
- Agricola (and assorted expansions including Agricola: Farmers of the Moor)
- Le Havre
- The Mines of Zavandor
- At the Gates of Loyang
- Cottage Garden (2nd edition) (with Jeffrey Allers)
Subject to other commitments, I am available to consult on game-related projects. Please email me if you would like to discuss a project.
